The New York City Marathon jacket has long been one of the most recognizable pieces of race apparel. For the 2026 edition, two distinct color options have been introduced, giving runners a chance to choose the style that fits them best.
Inspired by the iconic 1978 “Windcheater,” this updated model blends classic elements with a modern finish. The yellow version offers a refreshed take on the original — a relaxed silhouette, contemporary lines, reflective details and bold color blocking. The jacket is made from stretch‑woven material that provides wind and light rain protection, making it ideal for long training runs.
The second colorway features cooler tones with blue accents and traditional New York City Marathon branding. Both versions include the New Balance logo and official TCS New York City Marathon markings.
The marathon will take place on November 1, 2026, and the jacket is part of the official merchandise created specifically for this year’s event.
