Commemorative Medal: 30th Anniversary in the Year of the Horse
The year 2026 marks the Shanghai Marathon’s 30th Anniversary, which coincides with the Chinese Zodiac Year of the Horse. To celebrate, the event partnered with the Xu Beihong Art Museum. The collectible commemorative medal draws inspiration from Beihong’s iconic galloping steeds, symbolizing the unstoppable spirit of running.
The organizers are also launching a global call for cherished photos and stories related to “Shangma & You,” and will refresh the race logo to embark on the next phase of its international journey. We cordially invite all friends who love the Shanghai Marathon to join this dialogue across time and space.
