The Marathon Expo 2025 will be held at Messe Berlin, South Entrance (Eingang Süd, Jafféstraße, 14055 Berlin). This modern exhibition complex will provide comfortable conditions for both runners and exhibitors. The event will run from Thursday to Saturday, with the following opening hours:
• Thursday, September 18, 2025: 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Friday, September 19, 2025: 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday, September 20, 2025: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Admission to the Expo is free of charge for all visitors. In the event of large crowds, participants collecting their race packs will be given priority entry.
Race Pack Collection – What You Need to Know
Race pack collection is only possible during the Marathon Expo. Each participant must collect their pack in person – it is not possible to authorize someone else to pick it up or to have the pack sent to your home address. To collect your race pack, you will need:
• Start Card (sent by email up to 10 days before the event)
• Photo ID (identity card, passport, or driver’s license)
When you collect your pack, you will receive the official participant wristband, which, together with your bib number, grants you access to the start and finish areas. The wristband should only be removed after you leave the finish area following your run.
At the same location, you can also collect any additional products you pre-ordered, which will be indicated on your Start Card or bib number.
Getting to Messe Berlin – Practical Tips
Organizers recommend using public transportation, as there are no parking spaces available at the Expo venue. You can reach Messe Berlin by:
• U-Bahn (metro): Line U2 to U-Bhf Kaiserdamm station, then about a 25-minute walk
• S-Bahn: Lines S3, S5, S9 to S-Bhf Messe Süd station, then about a 5-minute walk
• Bus: Line 349 to the Jafféstraße stop, then about a 9-minute walk
If you are traveling to Berlin from more than 100 km away, your event ticket includes a so-called City-Ticket, which allows you to use public transportation in zones A+B free of charge on the day of arrival and departure.
Tip: Remember that you can bring luggage to the Expo with maximum dimensions of 55x40x25 cm (the standard size for airline carry-on baggage). Larger bags can be left in a paid cloakroom.
