The Tokyo Marathon Friendship Run is an annual companion event designed to celebrate the international running community and promote goodwill. Eligibility Requirements and Race Format
- Participants must be at least 12 years old on race day.
- Must be capable of completing the 5 km distance within 30 minutes.
- Runners under 18 must present written parental or legal guardian consent.
The race format is a Fun Run (5km). The course (Tentative) covers the area around the Taito River Side Sports Center Athletics Field near the Sumida River. No official time records will be taken for this recreational event.

The total capacity for the event is 1,800 Runners. The event fee for overseas residents is 9,900 JPY (per person, inclusive of tax). The capacity is distributed among the groups as specified below:
