New York City Marathon 2026: Run Charity with Team for Kids

The TCS New York City Marathon 2026 will take place on November 1, 2026. One of the most popular ways to secure a guaranteed entry is to join the charity team Team for Kids (TFK).

Running with Team for Kids not only guarantees your participation in the race but also supports the NYRR (New York Road Runners) mission, which aims to build healthier and stronger communities through running. Funds raised by TFK runners help support free youth and community programs.

Registration for Team for Kids for the 2026 Marathon opens on October 26, 2025, at 7:00 AM. Below are the available packages and their requirements.

Guaranteed Entry Packages for NYC Marathon 2026

By choosing one of the following packages, you receive a guaranteed bib number in exchange for committing to raise a certain amount for charity.

Additional Fees (Independent of Fundraising)

Please note that in addition to the fundraising commitment, every runner must cover the following costs, which are not included in the fundraising amount:

TFK registration fee: $107
NYRR marathon entry fee:
- $255 (for NYRR members)
- $315 (for non-members)

The final deadline to raise the full amount is Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

“Altruist” Packages (For Runners with Their Own Bib Number)

If you already have a guaranteed entry to the TCS New York City Marathon 2026 (e.g., through the lottery, qualifying time, or the 9+1 program), you can still join Team for Kids to support their mission and train with the team.
