Upper

The upper, made from recycled materials, wraps the foot very well and provides high comfort during training. I didn’t experience any chafing, and the shoes always fit securely. Unfortunately, breathability is poor—on warmer days, your feet heat up quickly, so these shoes work better in cooler conditions.

Sole and cushioning

This model uses two types of foam: ZoomX and SR02. ZoomX provides bounce, while SR02 is responsible for softness and cushioning. The cushioning is really solid, allowing you to comfortably cover longer distances. However, the dynamics do not match shoes with a carbon plate achieving a fast pace requires more effort.

Running impressions

Despite the “Turbo” in the name, Pegasus Turbo Next Nature doesn’t encourage very fast running. It works best for easier runs at a pace of 4:30–5:30/km and for longer outings. For intermediate runners, they can be a first safe racing shoe, and for faster runners—a solid choice for recovery runs.

Durability

The shoe’s eco-friendly character is a big plus, but unfortunately, it affects durability. The ZoomX foam is prone to crumbling and wearing down, even with moderate use. Long laces may also be an issue for some users.

Summary

Nike Pegasus Turbo Next Nature is a comfortable, eco-friendly shoe for daily training and longer runs. It’s a good choice for those who value comfort, stability, and care for the environment. It’s not a model for those seeking maximum dynamics or a strictly racing shoe. If you value comfort and versatility over breaking records, it’s a good pick.
