Participants in the 2026 New York City Marathon will receive an official New Balance long-sleeve shirt as part of their race package. This year’s race will take place on November 1 and will mark the 55th edition of the New York City Marathon.<\/p>\n

The design celebrates both the city and the event. The navy-blue shirt features a colourful graphic inspired by New York City, along with the race name and the date November 1, 2026. The left sleeve carries an orange commemorative print marking 50 years of the marathon course running through all five boroughs.<\/p>\n

The \u201c50 Years Through the 5 Boroughs 1976\u20132026\u201d print marks the anniversary of the course that has taken runners through all five boroughs of New York City since 1976. This milestone is separate from the marathon’s 55th edition.<\/p>\n

Collection at the Marathon Expo<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Participants will collect their official long-sleeve shirt along with their race package at the TCS New York City Marathon Expo. The event will take place from October 29 to 31, 2026, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.<\/p>\n
