5K Peace Run Before the Cape Town Marathon 2026<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Sanlam Cape Town Marathon, in addition to the main distance, 10K, and Trail Runs, offers a short and accessible accompanying event \u2013 the 5K Peace Run<\/strong>. Participation in this run is open to entrants aged 9 and older. Entry fees vary depending on the participant’s category: South African Residents (SA), African Residents (Africa), and International Participants (INT). Registration for all races is done through the runner’s account on the official Howler portal.<\/p>\n

Although the 5K Peace Run is not part of the Abbott World Marathon Majors series, finishers of the main marathon will receive a provisional star, which will become a full WMM Star upon the race’s official entry into the series.
