New York City Marathon 2025 Sets Record with 59,226 Finishers!<\/span><\/p>\n

The TCS New York City Marathon 2025<\/strong>, held on Sunday, November 2, has officially entered the record books as the largest marathon ever run<\/strong>! Organized by New York Road Runners (NYRR), the event saw an incredible 59,226 finishers<\/strong>, successfully breaking its own previous world record and significantly surpassing the 56,640 finishers of the 2025 London Marathon. Out of 59,662 starters, a remarkable 99.27% of runners successfully crossed the finish line.<\/p>\n

This race once again demonstrated its status as one of the world’s most inclusive sporting events, attracting a record number of participants across all demographics to tackle the 26.2 miles through New York’s iconic five boroughs.<\/p>\n
